WINTER WORKSHOPS


Yin Level 2 Teacher Training Sat Feb. 3 + Sun. Feb. 4 12:30 - 5:30 pm

This 10 hour course is designed to explore the more subtle realms of the yin practice, with particular emphasis on exploring inner methods such as visualization, meditation and breath work that all enhance the movement of energy while practicing yin.  Designed for teachers but also for regular and curious yin students.  CE credits through Yoga Alliance are available.  To sign up, please email Jennifer directly or visit Balance Studio's website.


Healing Meditation Workshop Monday, March 5th 6:30 - 8:30 pm


Meditation aims to quiet the constant chatter in our busy, everyday minds, so that we can see more clearly our true nature, and to help us experience each moment as it is.  This workshop will begin with a mindfulness meditation, but then we will move into a healing meditation - learning how we can learn to meet thoughts and feelings that we habitually suffer from - we learn to meet in a safe way those thoughts that cause us suffering over and over.  It is a powerful practice.  Some readings will be offered in advance.  Some meditation experience is helpful but not necessary.  This workshop is limited to 12 people.  $20.  To sign up, please email Jennifer directly.


14 Day 5-Minutes Per Day
Guided Meditation Series - Online begins February 15th

No experience necessary - every day you will receive an email with a reading or thought for the day, a description of the meditation, and a voice recording of a 5 minute meditation to follow.  Every day offers something a little different, but overall the meditations are based on mindfulness practices.  At the end of the 14 days you will have 14 5-minute meditations that are yours to keep, to reuse as it suits you.   A great way to explore meditation on your own, in your own home.  $25.  To sign up, please email Jennifer directly.
