Offering private and small group classes and workshops in my oceanside studio in Cohasset and at the Center for Integrative Counseling and Wellness in Hingham, and public classes at Balance Studio in Cohasset:  learn the basics of yoga or restorative or yin yoga, explore breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques, deepen your existing yoga practice, or develop your own home practice.  Set your intention and work toward your goals in a mindful, non-competitive environment.  


Fall Classes in My Home Studio, Cohasset

In addition to continuing to offer private yoga sessions, and small private group classes, I would like to offer new classes this fall.

3 new classes will offered - each a series of 6 classes, beginning the week of September 19th.  Each series is $125 (or $100 per series if the class is larger than 4 people).  Class size is limited to 8.

CLASSES/6 WEEK SERIES


Tuesdays at Noon   Yin/Yang (non-flow) 

This class will explore both the quiet, still practice of yin with more vigorous yang postures to strengthen the body and elevate the heart rate.  But this class will not be a standard flow - no chaturanga's - mindful of joints but still challenging.  


Wednesdays at 8:00 am Yin Yoga and Guided Meditation

This class will offer a yin practice, breath work and a 20 minute guided meditation.  No meditation experience necessary.  


Thursdays at 9:00 am Yoga for Cancer

This class is designed for people currently in treatment, and post-treatment.  Gentle yoga to help the physical body to pump up the lymphatic system, aiding in the healing process.  Breath work to calm and quiet the mind will also be explored.  


WORKSHOPS


Yin/Acupuncture Workshop Thursday, September 22nd 6:00 - 8:00 pm


Join Caroline Moody and myself in this special 2 hour workshop designed to help to clear for the fall season - half of the class will be exploring yin poses, the other half Caroline will use acupuncture needles.  $55


Chanting Workshop with Jill Jardine Thursday, October 20th 6:30 - 8:00 pm


Join Jill Jardine as she leads us through different chants to raise energy where we need it the most.  This is a very meditative but powerful practice, and you can request chants that you need in your life and Jill will teach them - for example, chants for moving obstacles, dealing with trauma or stress, cultivating love.    $20

Thursdays at Noon Yoga for Anxiety and Depression
